Makagon lab grad student, Allison Pullin, co-coached the first ever UC Davis undergraduate and graduate teams for competition at the AVMA Animal Welfare Assessment Contest, which was held at Colorado State University (https://awjac.org/about/index.html#.W_Mo8uhKjD4). Both teams ranked high, with the undergrad team placing 4th in the undergraduate team competition, and the graduate team placing 3rd in the graduate student division. Additionally, graduate team members Karli and Alycia placed in the top 5 individually. Congratulation to the teams and their coaches!!
