The new publication (available here: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.psj.2021.101614) examines and summarizes the body of available scientific literature on the welfare of Pekin duck kept for meat and eggs, specifically in relation to their housing environments. It is, to the bests of our knowledge, the first holistic review examining the impacts of housing on duck welfare put together in over 15 years, and the first written using a systematic literature search approach.
