Congratulations to Zahira, Lindsey, Christina, Brittany, and Allison! It has been an amazing awards season, with all lab members (with independent projects) receiving travel funding and/or summer support for their work:

Christina Rufener (Post-doc) received funding form the ISAE Congress Attendance Fund  to present work from her PhD at the Annual Congress of the International Society for Ethology (ISAE), which is held in Bergen, Norway.  

– Brittany Wood (MS student) received the  Ursula Abbott Travel Award to present her research at the 2019 Poultry Science Association’s Annual Meeting, which is held in Montreal, Canada.

-Zahira Budeguer (Undergraduate student) received the Jones-Hamilton Co. Undergraduate Student Travel Award from the Poultry Science Association (PSA) to present findings from her independent research project at the 2019 PSA Annual Meeting, which is held in Montreal, Canada.

Lindsey Broadus (PhD student) and Allison Pullin (PhD student) each received Hart, Cole, Goss Fellowship funding to continue their dissertation research over the summer.
